Le CRA Poitou-Charentes est impliqué dans les projets de recherche suivants :

Recherche multicentrique nationale intitulée « Évaluation médico-économique de la prise en charge par serious game en unités ambulatoires et à domicile des enfants atteints de troubles du spectre de l’autisme » E-GOLIAH dans le trouble du spectre de l’autisme.
Ce projet est développé par l’équipe du Professeur COHEN [Service de psychiatrie de l’enfant et de l’adolescent, G. H. Pitié-Salpêtrière, Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique (ISIR), Sorbonne Université, Paris]. Il repose sur des jeux numériques conçus pour être utilisés à domicile avec l’aide des parents, en complément des soins proposés. Son efficacité a été prouvée par une étude menée en 2014 en collaboration avec la Fondation Stella Maris de Pise : « Patient-centric model for remote management, treatment and rehabilitation of children with autism » .

Étude de la perception tactile de lettres chez des enfants présentant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme
L’objectif de ce projet de recherche est d’étudier, dans une perspective développementale, la cognition spatiale i.e. la possibilité pour l’enfant de plus de 6 ans, et l’adolescent, d’utiliser des cadres de référence égocentré et hétéro-centré, à partir du traitement d’informations tactiles. Nous évaluerons d’éventuelles altérations de cette capacité chez des enfants et adolescents présentant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme ou un trouble développemental de la coordination. Cette étude est menée en collaboration avec Malika AUVRAY (Chargée de recherche à l’ISIR) et le Docteur GHATTASSI, (Service Professeur COHEN, G.H. Pitié-Salpêtrière, Paris).

Deux projets de recherche sur la dimension motrice dans l’autisme

La variabilité motrice et posturale est-elle un biomarqueur de l’autisme ?
Ce projet porte sur les aspects développementaux de l’instabilité posturale et motrice chez les enfants et adolescents avec autisme. Nous faisons l’hypothèse que cette instabilité est spécifique à l’autisme, constituant un biomarqueur de cette pathologie. Ce projet est développé en collaboration avec l’équipe du Professeur COHEN (G.H. Pitié-Salpêtrière, ISIR), le Professeur CHETOUANI (ISIR), le docteur ANZALONE (Laboratoire CHArt-THIM, Université Paris 8 Saint-Denis) et le Professeur JAAFARI (Unité de Recherche Clinique, Centre Hospitalier Henri Laborit, Poitiers).

Projet régional intitulé « Mieux comprendre les déficits moteurs associés aux troubles du spectre de l’autisme. Développement d’un protocole d’évaluation chez l’humain ».
Ce projet est porté par Christel BIDET-ILDEI (Centre de Recherches sur la Cognition et l’Apprentissage CeRCA, CNRS UMR 7295, Poitiers). Il implique de nombreux partenaires de la région : le Centre Ressources Autisme Aquitaine (Docteur Anouck AMESTOY et Professeur Manuel BOUVARD), le Centre Ressources Autisme Limousin (Docteur LEMONNIER), le Service de Pédopsychiatrie du Docteur Hélène COTTENCEAU (La Rochelle), et l’Union Régionale Autisme France Poitou Charentes (Docteur Nicole COLLOT). Ce projet implique également une collaboration avec plusieurs unités de recherche du CNRS [CeRCA, Institut de Neurosciences Cognitives et Intégratives d’Aquitaine (INCIA)], et le Laboratoire de Neurosciences Expérimentales et Cliniques (LNEC).

Ces deux derniers projets ont fait l’objet d’une publication dans la lettre d’Autisme France parue en mai 2021.
